Brief outline of the project

By using augmented reality coupled with geographical information system technologies, this project aims to raise awareness on the potential of geology, geological processes (active and past) and geoheritage to foster sustainable development and disaster preparedness. At the same time the project will provide an inventory of important geosites that should be protected and used as geoscience education tool.
